Old Fashion Wacky Cake

Ingredients

  • 3 Cups Flour (can use GF)

  • 1/2 Cups Cocoa

  • 2 Cups Water

  • 2 Cups Sugar

  • 1 Cup Oil

  • 2 tsp Baking Soda

  • 2 tsp Vinegar

  • 1 tsp Salt

Directions

Mix all ingredients and beat well. Pour in greased 9X13 pan and bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or toothpick comes out clean. When cooled you can frost however you like or sift powder sugar over top.

This recipe makes great drop cookies by adding 2 extra cups of flours.

My Grandma Monnahan made this cake and cookies often and I always enjoyed eating it with her.
