Before you reserve

Four things to get clear.

01

Packaged weight is what comes home.

Live weight, hanging weight, and packaged weight are different. Ask which weight a price uses and whether processing is included. Use the farm’s packaged weight estimate when planning meals and freezer space.

02

Make room before you order.

Check the freezer space specified for the share you choose. Allow room around packages as needed for your freezer. A share name alone does not tell you the number of pounds you will receive.

03

Know what is due today.

Some shares use a reservation deposit. Others are paid in full. Read the pricing explanation and cancellation terms before ordering. Ask how and when any remaining balance will be collected.

04

Confirm your cuts and timing.

Cut selection, processing windows, pickup, and delivery vary. The product listing and the farm’s confirmation give you the details for your order.

Questions before you reserve?

Contact the farm
Is your beef grass fed and grass finished?

Yes. Our cattle graze pasture, with hay during the winter. We also use a small amount of locally grown rolled peas in finishing. You can read more about the way we feed and care for our herd on our farm page.

Should I start with cuts, a bundle, or a share?

Individual cuts are an easy first order. Bundles offer a selection in one purchase. A quarter, half, or whole beef is for households planning a larger freezer order. Check the packaged weight and freezer space on each share before choosing.

How do pickup and shipping work?

Available fulfillment methods depend on the product and your location. Check the product details and the options offered at checkout. If you are considering a beef share, ask us to confirm the arrangements before reserving.

How does bulk beef pricing work?

Read the pricing explanation on the share listing. A deposit listing charges the reservation amount today; it does not mean the whole beef share is paid for. The farm will explain the remaining balance, processing costs, timing, and cancellation terms.
